Title: Network Analyst Position: Full-time Industry: IT Outsourcing Location: Calgary Our client dedicated to providing front line IT services to small and medium sized businesses. They are partners with their clients in helping them navigate their way through the technology maze. They are looking for a dynamic Network Analyst to join their team. This position is responsible for the installation, layout and maintenance of all network components and will plan and provide technical support for a data communications network or group of networks. Responsibilities: · Consult with users to evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analysis, plan projects and coordinate tasks for installation of short-, medium-, and long-range network projects · Analyze and resolve technical problems for established networks · Provide network documentation, training and guidance to computing system clients and programmers · Troubleshoot and resolve network production problems and serve as a technical specialist in network problems and emergencies · Oversee the installation of hardware and software · Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as systems, to ensure connectivity and compatibility Qualifications: · Must be able to pass a criminal record check · Must have own transportation to travel to client sites · Three to five years of Windows 2003/2008/XP/Vista, 1 – 3 years of Exchange 2003/2007, SBS Server and Backup Exec experience required · A working knowledge of network platforms such as Novell and Windows operating environments · Must have the ability to coordinate the installation of data networks as well as maintain and troubleshoot computer network hardware, software and peripherals · Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills · Bachelors Degree in a related field along with three to five years of network experience Are we talking about you?
